Julian Erggelet
Chief Operating Officer
Julian Erggelet, originally from Germany, graduated from medical school and began his career as a physician before moving to California. He has a diverse background in turning around failing wineries and farm businesses in the Delta, bringing extensive experience in business operations, administration, and finance.
As the Chief Operating Officer of ACE California Law, Julian oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and implements strategic initiatives to drive growth and efficiency. With over a decade of experience across medicine, synthetic biology, wineries, and farm businesses, Julian offers a wealth of knowledge in operational management, business development, and leadership.
Before joining ACE California Law, Julian held key leadership positions at Hannah Nicole Winery, where he increased revenue, streamlined operational processes, and expanded market presence. He later took on a leadership role at SynBioBeta, where he improved operations for their renowned BetaSpace Conference. His expertise in process optimization has been instrumental in ACE California Law’s success.
Julian holds a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Hamburg and is currently pursuing a second doctorate in law at UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
In addition to his professional work, Julian is actively involved with Oakland Naturfreunde, an organization dedicated to preserving natural resources. Outside of work, Julian is a girl dad, sailor, climber, kite surfer, novice swimmer, park enthusiast, self-proclaimed family chef, and a connoisseur of wine and beer.

With over a decade of experience as a billing manager in the legal field, I bring a wealth of expertise to all billing-related matters. I hold a degree in economics with a minor in finance, equipping me with a strong foundation in financial management and analysis.
Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending quality time with my family, indulging in painting, and immersing myself in books. Additionally, I have a profound love for the theater, which enriches my appreciation for the arts.
Sebastian Gutierrez

As a dedicated receptionist and intake specialist at a leading remote law firm in California, Sebastian has developed a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills. He manages initial client interactions, ensuring a seamless intake process, and supports the legal team with various administrative tasks. Over the years, he has honed his ability to handle multiple responsibilities, from coordinating schedules and managing communications to assisting with client documentation. His commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining composure under pressure has been instrumental in building positive client relationships and contributing to the firm’s success.
Outside the legal field, Sebastian enjoys exploring new cultures and cuisines and loves spending time with his family and friends. Additionally, he adores spending time with his dog and immersing himself in a good book or movie. He is a creative person who also enjoys listening to music and learning about technology and innovations. His diverse interests and experiences enrich his professional life, allowing him to bring a well-rounded perspective to his work at the law firm.

Marketing Specialist
Alexa Iscoa is a Marketing Project Manager and Digital Marketing Strategist with a strong focus on SEO, website optimization, and content creation, particularly within the legal industry. She has supported multiple law firms by building and executing marketing strategies that improve online visibility, strengthen brand presence, and drive qualified leads.
Her experience includes Google My Business optimization, email marketing, social media management, website content strategy, and legal directory and state bar management. Alexa is highly skilled in project coordination, vendor management, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently and aligned with business goals.
With an academic background in Marketing & Business and MBAs in Digital Marketing and Human Resources, and fluency in English and Spanish, Alexa brings a strategic, organized, and results-driven approach to every project, helping brands grow through clear messaging and data-informed decisions.
Gabriela Castellanos
ADMINISTRATIVE LEGAL ASSISTANT
Gabriela serves as an Administrative Legal Assistant, providing essential support to the team across a broad range of administrative and legal tasks.
She assists the legal team by preparing documents, maintaining organized case files, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily workflows. With experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and keeping track of numerous responsibilities, she brings reliability and structure to the firm’s fast-paced environment. Her detail-oriented approach and dedication to efficiency contribute to the firm’s high standards of client service and internal coordination.
In her free time, she is a passionate illustrator who enjoys exploring and learning about the world around her-often drawing inspiration from her discoveries to incorporate into her artwork.
