Allison Cecchini Erggelet, Esq.
Principal Attorney
Upon completing law school, Allison launched her career in law as a plaintiff-side litigator in state and federal court. Her early professional years were spent advocating for victims of unjust foreclosures and predatory lending practices, and she was engaged in litigation against some of the world’s largest banks. These cases often involved significant violations of the Homeowners Bill of Rights (HBOR), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and Regulation Z.
Beth Hurwitz
SENIOR ATTORNEY
I have been practicing real estate law for almost 15 years. I have represented every type of party, from property managers and owners to residential and commercial tenants, foreclosed homeowners, realtors, HOA members, and property buyers and sellers. I thoroughly enjoy this area of the law, and I believe it is a practice area where I can make a real difference in people’s lives.I am an experienced litigator and I enjoy trial work, but I am happiest when we can find a solution for our clients that avoids or minimizes adversarial proceedings. I am a firm believer in mediation and arbitration as dispute resolution tools. I believe crafting a solution that is tailor-made to my clients’ needs and goals is the highest achievement for an attorney.
I joined the U.S. Navy after high school and spent my early-20s traveling the world in the military, first as an active-duty sailor and then as a California National Guard solider. My military experience has given me a unique perspective on conflict and resolution. After completing my service, I used my G.I. Bill to obtain my undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley and my law degree from the University of San Francisco. As a life-long Bay Area resident, I am honored to be able to offer my services to the members of my local community. After law school I worked for the San Francisco Housing Authority and then for a boutique landlord-tenant firm. Immediately prior to joining ACE California Law I worked in foreclosure defense and homeowner protection, broadening my practice areas and giving me additional litigation experience.
I live in the East Bay with my husband and our son. When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading, hiking and crafting.
